Alchemy - a modular pendant lamp inspired by the concept of alchemy - the ancient art of transforming various substances and chemical compounds into gold. The cylindrical shape, divided into irregular sections, resembles a series of interconnected vessels from a chemical laboratory, in which unspecified substances sublime, becoming increasingly perfect and pure noble metal. Depending on the needs, the modules can be arranged linearly or in a circle. This lamp was custom-designed for the offices of Accor and Fairmont in Dubai, where MIXD was responsible for the interior design.
