Student Depot Gdansk greets us with vibrant, contrasting colours and words “Welcome Home” arranged with tiles – and right from the entrance you can feel its spirit. The storytelling was strongly inspired by the Gdansk shipyard and its industrial character. Apart from beingvisually appealing the space was meant to be mobile, so that the students can arrange it according to their needs. That’s why the main role play simple wooden cubes- easily becomea tribune for movie watching or separate sitting for individual work. Playful furniture from young polish designers complete the whole project.
